Job summary

Canon Business Process Services in New York is seeking a Warehouse Data Entry Associate to enter, track, and maintain inventory within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) such as SAP and AS400.

Qualifications

• Strong problem solving in a dynamic team environment.
• Must have experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Experience using SAP within a WMS is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Knowledge of materials distribution and inventory processes.
• Strong data entry and transaction troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Overview

The role of the Warehouse Data Entry associate is to enter, track, and maintain proper inventory levels within the Warehouse Management System used at the facility (such as, but not limited to, SAP and AS400). This position is located within a warehouse/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Validate work orders and reporting through the Warehouse Management System
• Successfully able to organize incoming orders
• Maintain timely and accurate data entry, recordkeeping, and archiving
• Support production planning as required
• Maintain inventory at vendor locations.
• Support supply area and warehouse inventory accuracy
• Ability to create and manage purchase requisitions, delivery documents, pick tickets, cycle count sheets and standard reports (KPI's)
• Troubleshoot production orders, receiving, inventory discrepancies and other transactional issues
• Assist warehouse in order issues, product returns and nonconforming product
• Determine root cause of order/transactions and assist in development of process improvement plans
• Synergize operations across manufacturing cells and warehouse

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Strong background in the Warehouse Management modules with 1 or more years of experience in the tracking system used by the facility
• Strong background in problem solving in a dynamic team environment
• Must have experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Previous experience using SAP within a Warehouse Management System is a plus.
• Must have Microsoft Office Suite experience
• Knowledge of materials distribution and/or logistics processes, methods, and skills related to inventory management
• Strong data entry skills
• Strong transactional knowledge with troubleshooting experience
• Ability to work in an ever changing, dynamic environment
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Office, etc.)

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift 40 lbs
• Repetitive motion;Reaching, pushing, pulling carts, pallet jacks and other manual handling equipment
• Walking, standing for extended periods of time
