Job summary

Avantor is seeking a facility associate at our Rio Rancho, NM site to perform mission-based lab support and inventory tasks. The role supports lab and production services, helping bring time back to science by efficient material handling and replenishment.

The position requires a high school diploma, at least one year of prior work experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to stand and walk much of the day. GMP exposure is a plus and Teams experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of work experience required.
• Experience in material handling is a plus.
• GMP facility experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Receiving products at customer dock or shipping/receiving point.
• Record receipts and follow up on discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory in storerooms and customer areas.
• Transport consumables on wheeled carts and stock POU locations.
• Use scanner and proprietary software to transact stocking quantities.
• Conduct regular POU audits for proper signage and inventory changes.
• Serve as the point of contact for inventory availability issues.
