Job summary

Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team in Santa Clara is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to support customers by performing mission-based lab work and ensuring accurate stock levels. The role reports to the site services supervisor and collaborates with Lab and Production Services to return time back to science.

Education required is a High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years in inventory or warehouse operations within regulated environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in inventory management, material handling, warehouse operations, or supply chain in a lab/pharma/regulatory environment.
• Proficient use of inventory management technology and barcode scanning.

Responsibilities

• Lead cycle counting activities across stockrooms and storage areas.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
• Manage storage, handling, and distribution of consumables, chemicals, and reagents.
• Ensure GMP/GLP compliance in material handling and documentation; support CAPA activities.
• Generate inventory reports and troubleshoot system issues as needed.
