Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support inventory accuracy, logistics operations, and 3PL coordination. You will work with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and logistics providers to ensure efficient material flow, inventory integrity, and compliance with controls.

The role emphasizes cycle counting, inventory reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory control, warehouse operations, materials planning, or related disciplines.
• 1+ years of experience working with ERP systems, preferably Oracle R12.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support third-party logistics (3PL) provider performance by reviewing service levels and inventory accuracy metrics.
• Analyze inventory data and prepare reports on inventory levels, inventory turns, shortages, excess inventory, and other KPIs.
• Investigate and resolve inbound receiving discrepancies with suppliers, warehouse personnel, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate and support cycle count activities and annual physical inventory.
• Maintain ABC/XYZ inventory classifications for planning and management.
• Collaborate with procurement, planning, operations, and customer service to optimize inventory availability.
• Ensure inventory transactions comply with SOX requirements and LOA guidelines.
• Support inventory-related audits and corrective action implementation.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects for inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with customer service and warehouse operations to resolve inventory issues.
• Support Lean, Six Sigma and other CI initiatives.
