Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support inventory accuracy, 3PL operations, and overall supply chain execution within our 3PL network. You will work with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and logistics providers to ensure efficient material flow, inventory integrity, and adherence to business controls.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory control, or related disciplines.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Oracle R12.

Responsibilities

• Monitor 3PL performance and inventory accuracy metrics.
• Analyze inventory data and report on levels, turns, shortages, and excess.
• Investigate inbound receiving discrepancies with suppliers and warehouse teams.
• Coordinate cycle counts, variance investigations, and annual physical inventories.
• Maintain ABC/XYZ classifications for inventory planning.
• Collaborate with procurement, planning, operations, and customer service to optimize availability.
• Ensure SOX compliance and LOA guidelines in inventory transactions.
• Support audits and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects for inventory and warehouse efficiency.
• Perform root cause analysis on discrepancies and drive corrective actions.
• Assist with returns processing and disposition of inventory.
• Coordinate handling of obsolete/excess inventory.
