Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist in Georgia to support inventory accuracy, 3PL logistics operations, and supply chain execution within our logistics network. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to maintain efficient material flow and compliant controls.

The role focuses on cycle counting, physical inventories, discrepancy resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, improve accuracy, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory control, warehouse operations, materials planning, or related disciplines.
• 1+ years of experience working with ERP systems, preferably Oracle R12.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support 3PL provider performance via service levels and inventory accuracy.
• Analyze inventory data and generate reports on inventory levels, turns, shortages, and excess.
• Investigate inbound receiving discrepancies with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate cycle count activities and reconcile inventory records.
• Maintain ABC/XYZ classifications for inventory planning.
• Collaborate with procurement, planning, operations, and customer service to optimize availability.
• Ensure SOX compliance in inventory transactions and LOA guidelines.
• Support inventory audits and corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement projects for inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
• Perform root cause analyses on discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Assist with returns processing and disposition activities.
