Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support inventory accuracy, 3PL logistics, and supply chain execution at our Fairburn, GA site. You will drive cycle counts, variances, and reporting to ensure reliable material flow.

Requirements include 2+ years in logistics or inventory control and 1+ year with ERP systems (Oracle preferred). Collaboration with procurement, planning, and customer service is essential to optimize stock and maintain SOX compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory control, warehouse operations, materials planning, or related disciplines.
• 1+ years of experience working with ERP systems, preferably Oracle R12.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support 3PL performance by reviewing service levels and inventory accuracy.
• Analyze inventory data and report on levels, turns, shortages, and excess inventory.
• Investigate inbound receiving discrepancies with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate cycle counts and annual physical inventories for accurate documentation.
• Maintain ABC/XYZ classifications to support inventory planning.
• Collaborate with procurement, planning, operations, and customer service to optimize stock levels.
• Ensure inventory transactions adhere to SOX and LOA guidelines.
• Support audits and corrective actions for inventory records.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct root-cause analysis on discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
