Job summary

Ingersoll Rand Sedalia, MO seeks a Procurement Specialist to manage purchase orders, supplier coordination, and inventory planning. You will use SAP/MRP data, confirm pricing and delivery, and keep planning information current while supporting product launches and lifecycle changes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in customer service, inside sales, account services, or related roles handling orders or financial info.
• 2+ years using a computer to navigate several applications and manage files.
• 2+ years using Microsoft Outlook for business email, calendars, and invites.
• 2+ years of using Microsoft Excel to maintain, review, and analyze purchasing or inventory data.
• APICS CPIM certification is a plus and ERP/SAP experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue purchase orders per company policies.
• Confirm PO information including price, delivery date, quantity, and unit of measure.
• Update estimated delivery dates with Order Acknowledgements in real time.
• Expedite purchase orders with departments and suppliers to ensure material availability.
• Maintain and update planning/MRP data in SAP.
• Support product launches, transitions, and end-of-life activities to ensure availability.
