Job summary

Responsibilities include restocking, proper handling of sterile items, prioritizing duties, and maintaining organized storage areas while adhering to health and safety standards. Minimum 2–3 years in materials management is expected.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience: 2-3 years in Materials Management/Inventory.
• Ability to communicate accurately and appropriately.
• Ability to handle difficult situations discreetly and professionally.
• Demonstrate knowledge of unit goals and participate in committees/projects.
• Willingness to pursue educational opportunities and mandatory training.
• Excellent attendance and a willingness to participate in meetings and trainings.
• Complies with policies and health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Restocks using proper rotation, organization, and location of stock items.
• Properly handles and stores sterile items to maintain sterility.
• Prioritize duties to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Receive all materials delivered to the facility from vendors.
• Keep storage areas neat, organized, and properly rotated.
• Identify stocking needs and maintain appropriate levels across areas.
• Enter orders and receipts into the Materials Management computer system.
