Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Materials Handler to support per diem unit supply rooms and logistics at The Brigham and Women’s Hospital. The role emphasizes maintaining supply inventories, ensuring accurate stocking, and providing quality customer service to internal units.

Responsibilities include daily replenishment, stock rotation, and collaboration with Nursing Unit staff to ensure smooth supply continuity while adhering to safety and hospital guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred or GED required.
• Basic mathematical and reading skills.
• Must have general customer service and problem resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic distribution functions including unit assessment and replenishment of assigned Nursing Units.
• Stock and maintain unit supply rooms on a daily basis.
• Rotate stock and monitor expiration dates on med/surg products.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies related to inventory and distribution process.
• Report status to Team Lead and maintain positive working relationships with staff.
