Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an Inventory and Purchasing professional to manage stock, negotiate with suppliers, and coordinate with product teams. You will oversee inventory levels, forecasting, and annual physical counts onsite at our facilities.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of directly related experience is required; supervisory experience 2–3 years preferred.
• Knowledgeable with supply chain and inventory management systems; SAP MM experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements.
• Explores new materials, suppliers, and processes to improve quality, reliability, prices, continuity, and delivery.
• Establishes procedures and supervises the annual physical inventory.
• Supervises, evaluates, and coaches staff members.
• Interfaces with product line coordinators on planning and forecasting of customer orders.
• Maintains relationships and negotiates with suppliers.
• Purchases supplies and materials per specifications and ensures standard practices are followed.
