Mass General Brigham is seeking an Inventory and Purchasing professional to manage stock levels and procurement processes at The Brigham and Women’s Hospital location. You will optimize inventory, collaborate with suppliers, and supervise a small team to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role emphasizes cost-conscious sourcing, accurate forecasting, and adherence to hospital procurement standards, with onsite work at 89 Fenwood Rd, Brookline Ave, Boston area.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required; experience in lieu of degree accepted.
• 3–5 years direct related experience; supervisory experience 2–3 years preferred.
• Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems; forecasting knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Maintains optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries and meet customer requirements.
• Explores new materials, suppliers, and processes to improve quality, reliability, prices, continuity, and delivery.
• Establishes procedures and supervises the annual physical inventory.
• Supervises, evaluates, and coaches staff members.
• Interfaces with product line coordinators on planning and forecasting to meet shipments.
• Maintains relationships and negotiates with suppliers.
• Purchases supplies and materials in accordance with specifications.
• Ensures standard practices and procedures are followed for all materials department functions.
