Job summary

SoulFlora in Newfoundland, NJ is seeking an Inventory Supervisor to support daily back-of-house operations at our licensed cannabis dispensary. You will maintain the vault, ensure accurate storage, and help with receiving, counts, and order fulfillment.

Reporting to the Inventory Manager, you will follow established procedures, work with fulfillment staff, and use Dutchie POS and METRC to keep records accurate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily vault organization, cleanliness, and efficient product storage.
• Help oversee daily vault workflows, coordinate tasks with fulfillment staff, and maintain operational standards when the Inventory Manager is unavailable.
• Ensure inventory is accurately organized, labeled, and accessible for fulfillment.
• Monitor product availability and replenish fulfillment areas as needed.
• Assist with receiving, inspecting, verifying, cataloguing, and organizing incoming inventory deliveries.
• Assist with routine inventory counts and promptly identify and report discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using Dutchie POS and METRC under the direction of the Inventory Manager.
• Support customer order picking, staging, and fulfillment during busy periods or staffing needs.
• Monitor product rotation, expiration dates, and damaged or unsalable inventory.
• Follow and reinforce established inventory procedures, security protocols, and NJ CRC compliance requirements.
• Communicate inventory needs, discrepancies, and operational issues to the Inventory Manager.

Pay Range:$20-$22/hour (based on experience)

Schedule:Rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed

About the Role

SoulFlora is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Inventory Supervisor to support daily back-of-house operations at our licensed cannabis dispensary in Newfoundland, NJ.

Working directly under our Inventory Manager, this individual will primarily focus on maintaining an organized, accurate, and efficient vault operation, ensuring products are properly stored, tracked, catalogued, and readily available for the retail team. The position will also assist with inventory receiving, physical counts, and customer order fulfillment as needed.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is tech-savvy, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of daily responsibilities. Strong attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to follow and reinforce established procedures are essential.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Qualifications

• Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, stock management, or a similar role preferred
• Cannabis industry experience preferred but not required
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Strong computer skills, attention to data accuracy, and the ability to quickly learn inventory management software and digital workflows
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain established standards
• Reliable, accountable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to learn cannabis inventory systems, including Dutchie and METRC
• Must be 21+ and meet applicable NJ CRC background check and employment requirements

Physical & Schedule Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move up to 50 lbs as needed
• Availability for evenings and weekends as needed
