Job Description
The Fulfillment Specialist is on our Vault Operations Team and is the engine behind every seamless Pink Balloon experience—quietly powering the flow of product from vault to point of sale with precision, speed, and care. This role goes far beyond moving inventory; it requires a deep understanding of our products, systems, and compliance standards to ensure every order is accurate, efficient, and ready to elevate the customer’s experience. Equally important is attitude: a Fulfillment Specialist approaches each task with urgency, accountability, and pride, knowing that their work directly impacts wait times, team rhythm, and customer satisfaction. When done right, this role is invisible to the customer—but essential to making every visit feel effortless, consistent, and worth coming back for. Be the reason they come back!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Move fast, stay sharp. Pick and fulfill orders accurately and efficiently—because getting it right the first time is how we earn the next visit.
- Double-check everything before it hits the floor. Details matter here.
- Package it like it matters—because it does. Ensure every product is labeled correctly and ready to go.
- Keep your zone clean, organized, and dialed in. End every shift like you’re setting up the next one to win.
- Be ready when product lands. Support inventory receiving when called—team first, always.
- See a problem? Own it. Spot issues early and move quickly to fix them with smart, practical solutions.
- Stay connected with the inventory team. Help count, track, and analyze so everything lines up behind the scenes.
- Trust but verify. Make sure all products, labels, and tools are accurate and working the way they should.
Bottom line: smooth flow, zero mistakes, and a back-of-house operation that feels effortless to the customer.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in inventory, fulfillment, warehouse, or retail operations (cannabis experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of inventory control, product handling, and compliance-driven environments
- Experience working with POS and inventory management systems (Dutchie or similar preferred)
- Highly detail-oriented with a track record of accuracy in order picking, labeling, and reconciliation
- Proven accuracy in order picking, labeling, and inventory reconciliation
- Experience supporting inventory counts, audits, and reporting
- Comfortable working behind the scenes as part of a team that drives the customer experience
- Problem-solver mindset with the ability to identify and upscale discrepancies quickly
- Basic math and data entry skills with confidence in counts, audits, and reporting
- Ability to follow strict processes and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Physically able to lift, move, and organize product, and stand or sit for extended periods. Job duties may require lifting of up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
- Ability to work with a team as well as independently.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid NJ CRC employee badge — required before your first shift.
- Must pass state-mandated background checks and fingerprinting as required by NJ law
- Commitment to adhering to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to follow all state regulations and compliance requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age

Schedule:
- Up to 8-hour shifts
- Day and Evening shifts
- Weekend and Holidays availability
