Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a dedicated team member to execute, monitor, and train on inventory best practices across the store, including pharmacy operations. The role supports receiving, counting, ordering, pricing, returns, and planogram accuracy, while championing on-shelf availability and comprehensive inventory control.

Responsibilities extend to front-end and pharmacy activities, with training in POS, reports, asset protection, and vendor communications.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English (where required).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task and manage execution.
• Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Executes, monitors, and trains inventory best practices and procedures for the entire store (front end and pharmacy).
• Supports pharmacy inventory management activities, including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Manages on-shelf availability, receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and all in-store inventory processes.
• Reviews and coordinates proper use of reports and system applications affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Executes asset protection techniques and files claims for overages/shortages/damages in-store inventory.
