Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Inventory Specialist to execute and monitor store-wide inventory procedures for both front end and pharmacy. You will assist receiving, counting, ordering, pricing, and returns, and ensure accurate planograms and On-Shelf Availability.

Under store leadership, you will manage stock counts, price updates, vendor returns, and inventory audits to support daily operations and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year of retail work.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices across store areas.
• Manage receiving, counting, ordering, pricing, and returns.
• Maintain On-Shelf Availability and validate planograms.
• Oversee front end and pharmacy asset protection and recalls.
• Support price changes, markdowns, and proper signage.
• Coordinate with store team on warehouse and vendor inventory processes.
