Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage HUB operations under the General Manager’s supervision. You will pull and ship HUB orders, coordinate with servicing stores, and assist with cycle counts, plan-o-grams, and stock maintenance.

The role requires basic math, strong communication and retail experience, with the ability to train staff and ensure compliance with company policies. Willingness to work varied hours and lift requirements applies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly in oral and written form.
• Basic math computations are required.
• Prior retail experience is preferred.
• Experience with merchandising and inventory management is desirable.
• Able to operate forklift if certified; also use hand truck and pallet jack.
• Able to adapt to flexible scheduling including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Pull and ship HUB orders on time.
• If HUB order can't be filled, call servicing store before next HUB run explaining how to reorder.
• Complete all parts department cycle counts including OUTS with store management.
• Stock all parts department parts and assist with plan-o-grams.
• Complete required training and attend scheduled store meetings.
• Train and develop team members and coordinate product delivery with General Manager.
