Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to support both front-end and pharmacy inventory disciplines, including receiving, counting, and pricing. The role emphasizes On-Shelf Availability, planogram accuracy, and vendor interactions to keep shelves stocked and compliant.

The position involves reviewing reports, maintaining accurate inventory records, and training team members on inventory best practices within a store environment. Evening and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Executes and coaches team members on warehouse and vendor inventory management processes including receiving orders.
• Scans deliveries while vendor is in store and manages One Box receiving and past undelivered receipts.
• Under supervision of the pharmacist-in-charge, verifies pharmacy shipments and postings for stocked items.
• Completes On-Shelf Availability end-to-end processes for planogrammed departments and vendor/DSD tasks.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts across store areas and ensures compliance with state/local laws for regulated products.
• Supports pricing activities, daily price changes, and proper signage in designated departments.
• Assists front end and pharmacy ordering, monitors excess orders, and maintains consigned inventory.
• Supports package delivery activities, scanning in/out packages, and Pickup Program execution.
