Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a team-oriented Inventory Specialist to manage and train inventory best practices across the full store, including front end and pharmacy. You will support receiving, counting, ordering, returns, and ensure planogram accuracy while maintaining On-Shelf Availability and pricing integrity.

In addition, you will review reports impacting on-hand balances, assist with asset protection, and help open/close in designated stores with required cash handling and POS duties.

Qualifications

• Six months of Walgreens experience or one year of retail experience.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi task.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor and train inventory best practices for the entire store (front end and pharmacy).
• Support pharmacy inventory management: receiving, counting, ordering, returns.
• Ensure On-Shelf Availability and accuracy of planograms.
• Review reports and system applications impacting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Perform front end and pharmacy asset protection tasks and process related claims.
• Open/close store in designated locations and handle cash and POS duties when on duty.
• Lead warehouse and vendor inventory processes, including receiving orders and tote audits.
• Verify postings for pharmacy shipments and recalls; manage recalls as required.
• Complete On-Shelf Availability end-to-end for planogrammed departments and manage vendor returns.
• Assist with pharmacy inventory activities and interstore transfers when applicable.
• Assist with pricing changes, markdowns, and signage accuracy.
• Support front end and pharmacy ordering and monitor excess orders.
