Job summary

Kenco Group in Columbus, OH is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain inventory accuracy in a distribution center. You will perform cycle counts, audits, and system reports to prepare materials for shipping and receiving and meet customer needs.

Role requires a High School diploma or GED and at least 2 years in a warehouse setting. Basic MS Office skills, attention to detail, and the ability to pass a background and drug screen are required. Knowledge of ISO is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Familiar with ISO requirements preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Attention to detail.
• Pass Background and Drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain perpetual inventory of materials and products and generate applicable inventory reports.
• Perform daily cycle count activities and inventory audits and track and monitor all damaged product in inventory; provide necessary reports to leadership.
• Verify clerical inventory records against physical inventory counts; investigate and report discrepancies.
• Coordinate product recalls, holds/releases, product infestation audits.
• Monitor pest control program if required at site.
• Ensure facility is inspection ready at all times (e.g. SQFI, FDA or other customer needs).
• Facilitate quality/regulatory training and coordinate the site's quality management program.
• Maintain the site's quality management portal and may draft/revise site SOPs as needed.
