Job summary

Kenco Group in Ohio is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain inventory accuracy in a distribution center. This role handles reporting, physical inventory, and system audits to prepare and track materials for shipping and receiving demands.

Responsibilities include daily cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, coordinating recalls or holds, and ensuring compliance with quality programs such as SQFI or FDA where required. Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree or two years of equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or distribution environment; food grade experience may be required depending on site.
• Familiar with ISO requirements preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Attention to detail; ability to report and audit inventory.
• Pass Background and Drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain perpetual inventory and generate inventory reports.
• Perform daily cycle counts and audits; track damaged inventory and report to leadership.
• Verify clerical records against physical counts; investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate product recalls, holds/releases, and infestations audits as needed.
• Ensure facility readiness for inspections (SQFI, FDA or other customer needs).
• Support quality management program and draft/revise site SOPs as needed.
