Note: This position is scheduled to start in April 2025. RWJBH may consider an earlier start date during the interview process.

Job Responsibilities

1. Manage supply chain activities in the assigned area under the direction of supply chain management.
2. Perform procurement activities for procedural areas in a cost-effective manner, following current inventory management processes.
3. Communicate product concerns to supply chain management and seek approval from Clinical Resource Directors for all new items prior to ordering.
4. Conduct procedural area supply chain activities, including special item requests across service lines.
5. Research, mitigate, and resolve customer concerns, escalating when necessary.
6. Participate in daily meetings and huddles.
7. Proactively review reports and procure goods to meet future supply needs.
8. Identify and report safety concerns, medical errors, device malfunctions, and facility damages.
9. Perform delegated tasks and special projects as assigned.
10. Act as a subject-matter expert in assigned procedural areas.
11. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent, excellent customer service skills, ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs.
• Preferred: 2-3 years of supply chain procedural area experience.

Work Schedule

• Days, 6am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday
• Weekend/Holiday Rotation

Practices and adheres to all department and organizational policies, procedures, initiatives, and training.
