2nd shift - 3:30pm - 12:00am (Monday - Friday)

SCA Pharma is an FDA 503B outsourcing facility providing customized medications for hospitals and healthcare facilities across the United States. Summary:

The Narcotic Inventory Specialist is responsible for supporting DEA Compliance and vault operations of all controlled substances at the site.

Essential Functions:

  • Utilize the YERS and ARCOS systems to report acquisitions, dispositions, and inventory of List I chemicals and Schedule II substances to the DEA.
  • Maintain inventory of both raw drugs and finished products.
  • Utilize DEA form 222 to procure and disposition-controlled substances.
  • Pick controlled substance raw materials used for production.
  • Preparing controlled substances for reverse distribution.
  • Perform inventories in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Other clerical duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year experience in clerical position or equivalent

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems
  • Have superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to reach and/or extend hands/arms often.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Carrying/lifting to 50 lbs.
