Inventory Specialist

Farmington Hills, MI

Your Role at YES:

The Inventory Specialist reports to the Inventory Director and handles home inventory management, maintains process efficiencies, and data integrity to ensure accuracy. The Inventory Specialist also supports YES operations by providing timely inventory information and reporting.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage all aspects of incoming and outgoing home inventory including new home orders and used home purchases
  • Review and approve all new home invoices for appropriate coding and to verify location of assets
  • Research inventory discrepancies and inquiries within multiple systems to maintain data integrity
  • Collect and consolidate various manufacturer offline unit production information
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand workflow processes & achieve ongoing company objectives
  • Data entry of inventory into the systems/network
  • Other duties and special projects as required and assigned by management

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities in a dynamic work environment while maintaining an extraordinary level of attention to detail

  • Relentless curiosity and desire to learn and grow skillset at YES
  • Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency with the ability to use various Microsoft computer programs, email, the internet, and provide data entry in a timely and efficient manner
