Job summary

Albany Med Health System is seeking an Inventory Site Coordinator in the Mail Room. The role oversees daily movement, restocking, and distribution of department supplies, ensuring inventory accuracy, and coordinating procurement processes.

Responsibilities include counts with handheld devices, data uploads, restocking, and maintaining regulatory knowledge to ensure compliant operations. This is an on-site position in Albany, NY.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree in business or Applied Science preferred.
• Experience in a support position or inventory control preferred.
• Basic computer skills (spreadsheet, database management).

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains a stock inventory of all supplies for the department.
• Performs inventory counts using a handheld computer and uploads data to the Material Management system.
• Generates system inventory site restock orders and processes all supply requisitions.
• Receives supplies and performs the computerized inventory receipt and put-away process.
• Coordinates acquisition and receipt of all non-stock supplies.
• Keeps informed on product regulatory requirements (FDA, OSHA, AAMI, JCAHO).
