Job summary

Albany Med Health System is seeking an Inventory Site Coordinator in a per diem capacity for the Mail Room. The role focuses on evaluating product movement, adjusting PAR levels, and coordinating daily acquisition, receiving, and distribution of materials in the unit.

Responsibilities include maintaining stock, performing counts with handheld devices, generating restock orders, processing requisitions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. required.
• Associate's Degree in business or Applied Science preferred.
• Previous experience in inventory control preferred.
• Basic computer skills (spreadsheet, database management) required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains a stock inventory of all supplies for the department.
• Performs inventory counts using a handheld computer and uploads data to the Material Management system.
• Generates system inventory site restock orders and processes all supply requisitions.
• Maintains knowledge of product utilization and purpose.
• Receives supplies and performs the computerized inventory receipt and put away process.
• Coordinates acquisition and receipt of all non-stock supplies.
• Acts as liaison for inventory control meetings and staff inquiries.
• Orders product and tracks lost or missing items.
• Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, OSHA, etc.).
