Job summary

Mattel is hiring an Inventory Records Assistant to provide analytical support for ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping finished goods. You will conduct cycle counts, investigate variances, and ensure inventory accuracy across book and physical counts.

Responsibilities include processing shipments, returns, damaged goods, and claims, while maintaining documentation and reports for management review. Regular attendance and accuracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, documents such as shipping documents, bills of lading, reports, inventory documents
• Ability to gather, track, analyses and interpret reports, graphs, and other data
• Ability to analyze information and solve problems

Responsibilities

• Inventory control through analysis of physical cycle counts.
• Research and reconcile negative inventory balances and adjust accordingly.
• Research, investigate, and reconcile product problems.
• Maintain inventory accuracy of book counts to physical counts via monthly comparisons and adjustments.
• Address issues pertaining to Quarantine and Pending inventory.
• Input, clear, and adjust work in progress (WIP) inventory.
• Perform shipping and receiving dock audits.
• Print reports, shipping documents and labels.
• Process shippers, labels, packing lists and assemble shipments.
• Post incoming IPTs and monitor IPT variances.
• Process customer returns for goods.
• Process damaged product to Mattel Toy Stores.
• Prepare inbound damage/wet claims.
• Attend work regularly and timely.
