Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED required; GED program within 6 months may be accepted.
• One year warehouse/receiving experience; knowledge of receiving and storage preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old; forklift certification within 60 days of hire; valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate pallet jack, forklift, hand truck, cart and electronic scale.
• Willing to work odd hours including nights, weekends and holidays; may travel for training.

Aufgaben

• Verifies and records incoming/outgoing shipments against bills/invoices.
• Unpacks, inspects, rejects damaged items; routes items to storage promptly.
• Operates tier-lift truck, forklift or hand truck to move shipments.
• Assigns bar codes, item numbers and date stickers to merchandise.
• Processes receipts, requisitions and transfers in the computerized system.
• Maintains documentation supporting shipping/receiving transactions.
• Assists in preparing and filling orders for distribution.
• Monitors inventory levels and participates in counts.
• Adheres to warehouse SOPs and safety rules.
