Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality is seeking a Receiving Clerk for the Montgomery location. The role involves acting as the receiving/warehouse agent, recording deliveries, and ensuring proper inventory accounting in line with tribal policies and gaming regulations.

Responsibilities include verifying shipments, operating warehouse equipment, assigning barcodes, and supporting cycle counts while maintaining a neat, orderly warehouse and adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; some college preferred
• One year warehouse/receiving experience
• Experience with computerized inventory systems preferred
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment

Responsibilities

• Verify and record incoming/outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices, or orders
• Unpack, inspect, and route shipments; handle damaged items and shortages
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
• Assign bar codes and date stickers to merchandise
• Process merchandise receipts, requisitions, and transfers in the computerized system
• Maintain and file documents supporting shipping/receiving transactions
• Assist in preparing and filling orders for distribution
• Monitor inventory levels and participate in regular counts
