Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality is seeking a Receiving Clerk to act as the receiving/warehouse agent, ensuring accurate inventory accounting and adherence to internal controls and Tribal Gaming Regulations. Responsibilities include recording deliveries, load handling, barcode labeling, and assisting in distribution orders.

The role requires forklift operation, basic math, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with safety in mind.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; GED program within 6 months from start date.
• One year warehouse/receiving experience; knowledge of receiving and storage functions preferred.
• Experience with computerized inventory/purchasing systems preferred.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
• Must have and maintain valid state-issued operator driver's license.
• Fork lift certification within 60 days from hire date.
• Ability to lift/move parcels up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to work odd hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Verifies and records incoming/outgoing shipments; matches with bills of lading and invoices.
• Unpacks shipments, rejects damaged items, and coordinates with shipper/purchasing/Finance.
• Operates forklift or hand truck to move shipments; directs others as needed.
• Assigns bar codes and dates to received merchandise.
• Processes merchandise receipts, requisitions, and transfers in computerized system.
• Maintains documentation supporting shipping/receiving transactions.
• Assists in preparing and filling orders for distribution.
