Job summary

Four Winds Casinos is seeking a Receiving Clerk in the Finance Department to ensure smooth operations in the Receiving Division. This role handles shipping, receiving, verification, and storage of goods to support all casino departments.

The ideal candidate will manage FIFO storage, coordinate shipments, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and maintain accurate records. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must possess effective communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Chauffeur’s License is mandatory; must have a valid driver’s license.
• This position requires a Level 4 Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Receives shipments and coordinates workflow to ensure timely delivery of supplies to all departments.
• Maintains knowledge of dry goods, paper products, chemical supplies, and food/beverage specs.
• Verifies all shipments are received in good, undamaged condition.
• Cooperates with accounts payable in order verification.
• Prepares boxes for shipment and prepares shipments as needed.
• Researches and resolves receiving disputes.
• Attaches invoices to purchase orders with quantities and dates.
• Facilitates information flow by attending departmental meetings.
• Maintains sanitation, temperature, and humidity in storage areas.
• Keeps departmental records and reports accurate, confidential, and thorough.
• Verifies food/beverage deliveries against corporate specs.
• Stores products under refrigeration or other storage and rotates using FIFO.
• Assists marketing with promotional giveaways and maintains inventories at remote warehouses.
• Operates forklift, pallet jack, and drives a box truck as required.
• Maintains cleanliness and safe operation of department vehicles.
• Prepares orders for shipment and ensures quality control.
• Performs interoffice mail and equipment deliveries using a commercial vehicle.
