Job summary

Tractor Supply is seeking a Receiver who will manage inventory control, receiving accuracy, and compliance tasks that support store operations. The role covers receiving, adjustments, reconciliation, transfers, buybacks, RTVs, and reporting while collaborating with the Store Operations Manager.

The updated model shifts ownership away from front sidewalk duties toward backroom operations managed by leadership. Ideal candidates maintain day-to-day discipline, safety, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience is preferred but not required.
• Retail knowledge or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding experience is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts and varied hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Receive Direct POs, Freight, and DC transfers; unload trucks and stage items.
• Stock and tag direct freight and DC freight per process standards.
• Complete all documentation accurately and timely and participate in safety and compliance routines.
