Job summary

Tractor Supply Company seeks a Receiver to manage receiving, inventory control, and compliance routines that support store operations. The role executes receiving, inventory adjustment, reconciliation, transfer, buyback/RTV, compliance, and reporting while maintaining partnership with the Store Operations Manager.

The updated operating model narrows Receiver ownership away from front sidewalk/sidelot presentation and backroom/dock/assembly recovery, which are owned by Operations leadership.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail, farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied hours, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA and coaching routines.
• Complete forklift and propane inspections and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation.
• Receive Direct POs, transfers, and freight; perform stock and inventory adjustments.
• Operate forklift and related store equipment; assist customers with loading purchases.
• Prepare and submit daily reports; ensure compliance with safety and company standards.
