Job summary

Tractor Supply is seeking a Receiver to manage inventory control, receiving accuracy, and compliance routines that support store operations. The role handles receiving, inventory adjustments, reconciliation, transfer, buyback/RTV, compliance, and reporting.

Updated operating model narrows Receiver ownership away from front sidewalk presentation toward backroom/dock processes, with leadership from the Store Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required; ability to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work shifts including varied hours, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, uncover needs, recommend, add value, and show appreciation.
• Receive Direct POs and freight, stage for loading, and complete related reports.
• Operate forklift and other equipment; assist customers with loading purchases.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely; participate in inventory and compliance actions.
