Job summary

Tractor Supply is seeking a dedicated Receiver to support store operations through accurate receiving, inventory adjustments, reconciliations, and compliance activities. The role emphasizes Legendary Customer Service and collaboration with the Store Operations Manager to ensure smooth backroom and dock processes.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, able to work varied hours including weekends, and capable of performing forklift and propane-related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to read, write, and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as dictated by business needs.
• Deliver on our promise of Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet the Customer, Uncover Customer’s Needs & Wants, Recommend Product Solutions, Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Deliver Legendary Service and reinforce Leading with Legendary behaviors through Customer engagement, Team Member coaching, and accountability for execution.
• Use A+ Coaching routines to develop Team Members, improve selling behaviors, and reinforce consistent operating standards.
• Complete forklift and propane inspections and key propane use as required.
• Pull waiting OMNI orders in the morning and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation routines.
• Complete BOPIS Reconciliation Report and BODFS Reconciliation Report according to company standards.
• Receive Direct POs, Mixing Center freight, Bulk Center freight, and DC receiving transfers, including new and open transfers.
