Job summary

Sorenson Communications is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to manage incoming equipment, ensure proper testing, and log results in the SDB system and Excel. You will process defective items, create RMAs, and prepare units for reuse, while maintaining accurate inventory records.

You will work with Warehouse Managers and Sorenson Engineering to resolve testing issues, maintain clean procedures, and support shipping operations.

Qualifications

High attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and typing.
ASL background preferred but not required.
Forklift certification preferred but not required, training provided.

Responsibilities

Inventory Quality Control (IQC) of equipment received new from manufacturer.
Test equipment and log results in SDB and Excel.
Process defective videophones and generate RMAs.
Clean tested units for reuse in the field.
Maintain monthly defective VP report.
Follow policies for IQC testing and assignment.
Coordinate with Warehouse staff and carriers for shipments.
Assist with processing shipping requests from Warehouse Managers.
Willingness to take on new tasks and assignments.
Collaborate with Sorenson Engineering to resolve testing abnormalities and assist in designing testing processes.
