Prairie Farms Dairy, Inc. in Quincy, IL is seeking a Purchasing/Inventory Clerk to manage daily ordering, track stock levels, and reconcile materials using the AS400 system. This full-time, non-union, hourly position reports to the Plant Manager and supports warehouse operations.

The role requires basic math and data-entry accuracy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Typical shift is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with overtime potential as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• 1+ years of experience in purchasing or inventory management (preferred).
• Associate or bachelor7s degree in business administration or related field (preferred).
• Experience with inventory management software (preferred).
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Conduct end-of-month counts of ingredients and packaging.
• Enter daily intercompany transfers and inbound receipts into AS400 system.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Place orders for supplies and materials as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Perform regular audits of inventory to identify discrepancies.
• Close out monthly reports in support of financials.
