Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Experience in purchasing/parts room inventory/vendor relations preferred.
• APICS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process requisitions and issue purchase orders.
• Maintain database to track orders and vendor contacts.
• Handle data entry for Receiving department.
• Purchase all materials for Packaging department.
• Serve as backup when Production Coordinator is out.
• Communicate production needs for the next day.
• Verify material quality and correctness of receipts.
• Cover breaks for Packaging Inventory Clerk as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.
