Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Production-Inventory Control Associate for our Portland, OR site. The role centers on planning procurement based on inventory usage to maintain continuous manufacturing and minimize waste.

You will handle BOM efficiency, materials planning, and cycle counts within a fast-paced plant environment. Responsibilities include invoicing accuracy, PO entry, regular reporting, and daily audits using SAGE ERP.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in inventory control or planning.
• ERP experience required (training provided).
• Experience with cycle counting, inventory audits, and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Plan procurement activities based on inventory usage.
• Maximize Bill of Materials efficiencies.
• Incorporate best inventory practices to minimize inventory loss.
• Cycle count and purchase required materials.
• Manage materials to meet market demands while avoiding oversupply.
• Review invoices and accounting documentation for accuracy.
• Enter purchase orders for materials.
• Produce regular progress reports.
• Manage purchasing and inventory accuracy using SAGE ERP.
• Conduct daily inventory cycle counts and audits.
• Assist in raw materials and product planning.
• Oversee excess stock and reconciliation of inventory.
• Train staff on inventory processes.
