Aston Carter is seeking a Production Control Specialist to support daily manufacturing operations, ensure quality inspections, and maintain accurate inventory at the Georgetown, KY facility. The role involves coordinating material flow, cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring safety and productivity targets are met.

The position emphasizes cycle counting, ERP data entry, and warehouse coordination, with a focus on timely component delivery and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• . Must have at least 2 years in manufacturing, quality, production control, or inventory roles.
• . Strong attention to detail and problem-solving in a fast-paced setting.
• . Experience with inventory systems, control, and cycle counting processes.
• . Hands-on quality inspections in a manufacturing environment.
• . Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a busy facility.
• . Proficiency with MS Excel and other Office apps.
• . Familiarity with ERP systems for production and inventory data.
• . Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, shipping/receiving, and freight coordination.
• . Experience with warehouse management and dispatch activities.
• . Strong customer service mindset coordinating orders and inventories.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets.
• Perform detailed quality inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications and internal standards.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving to move materials and finished goods efficiently.
• Manage inventory records and assist with regular cycle counts.
• Support material movement and timely delivery of components to production lines.
• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, and Warehouse to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Investigate quality concerns, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures.
• Perform data entry and documentation for production, inventory, and quality using systems.
• Assist with dispatch, freight coordination, and warehouse tasks as needed.
