Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Production Scheduling / Materials Planner for the Malvern, PA site. The role is hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days work-from-home) under a 17 1/2 month contract.

The incumbent will manage master production schedules, update SAP data, and coordinate material planning to ensure timely production outcomes for clinical manufacturing in Malvern, PA. Requirements include 3+ years in manufacturing/logistics planning, SAP/ERP experience, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Clinical trials & clinical supply chain knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Planning principles required.
• Analytical skills including Excel skills needed.
• 3+ years of relevant professional work experience (including manufacturing, logistics, planning) is required.
• Supply chain certification (APICS/IBF) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate production planning activities to prioritize timely release of intermediates and API based on the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Update actual production status in SAP and planning systems and create/release process orders per schedule horizon.
• Review purchase requisitions and ensure alignment with supplier lead times and inventory targets.
• Run scenarios and provide decision matrices on order placement within the E2E planning team.
• Liaise with suppliers and Global Procurement to resolve planning constraints.
