Job summary

Johnson Matthey is seeking a Production Planner I in the West Whiteland, PA area. You will coordinate schedules, manage orders, and align production with demand to ensure timely deliveries and optimal inventory levels.

The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration with sales and service teams, and the use of ERP systems to drive efficient operations. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or at least two years of manufacturing or production planning experience.
• Experience with inventory control, MRP or ERP systems.
• Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data management.
• Effective communication across multiple teams.
• Good PC skills including Microsoft Excel and independent work ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned product lines and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand.
• Process customer sales orders through to completion, including starting stock planning.
• Monitor on-time-in-full delivery performance and inventory targets.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production and Customer Service to set daily manufacturing priorities.
• Maintain accurate planning, inventory and work order data in business systems.
• Analyse production and inventory performance data to support decisions.
