Job summary

Real Staffing Group in Massachusetts seeks a Senior Planner, Materials Management to join a leading biotechnology organization. The role ensures material availability and supports manufacturing across internal and external sites in a hybrid schedule with two onsite days per week, Thursdays mandatory.

You will collaborate with Global Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Development, Regulatory, Clinical, and Commercial teams to translate demand into material strategies, manage procurements,

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in supply chain planning or materials management in biotech/pharma
• Strong materials planning, inventory control, procurement coordination knowledge
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with risk management focus
• Knowledge of GMP, biotech/pharma manufacturing, and new product introduction
• ERP experience, ideally SAP, plus strong Excel and data analysis skills
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage material planning and procurement activities to ensure supply
• Maintain Bills of Materials for commercial and development products
• Optimize inventory parameters to support reliable supply
• Monitor SAP transactions and manage raw material inventories
• Create purchase requisitions and orders; expedite critical materials
• Support scenario planning and continuous improvement; communicate material status to stakeholders
