Job summary

Walgreens is recruiting for an Inventory Lead to manage store and pharmacy inventory, including receiving, counting, pricing, and planograms. The role emphasizes On-Shelf Availability, stock accuracy, and collaboration with pharmacy teams in a fast-paced retail setting.

The candidate will review reports, ensure pricing accuracy, oversee pricing tasks, and support front-end and pharmacy ordering. Retail store leadership duties and training are included as part of daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year of prior retail experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Review and coordinate proper use of reports and system applications affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Execute and maintain front end and pharmacy asset protection techniques and vendor/docket reconciliation.
• In designated stores, open/close the store in the absence of management, including cash handling and cashier responsibilities.
