Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an inventory-focused team member to execute, monitor, and train best practices for both front-end and pharmacy inventory. The role supports receiving, counting, ordering, pricing, returns, and ensuring planogram accuracy to sustain On-Shelf Availability.

The position involves reviewing reports, protecting assets, processing claims for variances, and participating in opening/closing procedures as needed in designated stores, with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens or one year of prior retail work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task and manage execution.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Review reports and system applications affecting front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing.
• Execute and maintain front end and pharmacy asset protection, including filing claims for overages, shortages, and damaged goods.
• Open and close the store in designated locations when required, including cash handling and POS responsibilities.
