Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Inventory Associate to execute and monitor inventory best practices across both front-end and pharmacy. The role involves receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and ensuring planogram accuracy, while supporting inventory reporting and system applications to maintain on-hand balances.

Responsibilities include asset protection, warehouse/vendor issue resolution, price changes, and assisting with store opening/closing duties as required.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal) or one year of prior retail work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Achieving expectations rating on last performance review and no written disciplinary actions in the previous 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for executing, monitoring, and training inventory best practices and SOPs for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Reviews and coordinates use of reports and system applications affecting front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing.
• Executes and maintains front end and pharmacy asset protection techniques and handles vendor/warehouse overages, shortages, and damaged goods including prescription drugs.
• Opens and closes the store in designated stores, including cash handling and cashier responsibilities, and ensures floor and stock room readiness.
