Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Inventory Specialist to oversee store-wide inventory best practices across front end and pharmacy, including receiving, counting, pricing, returns and planograms to support on-shelf availability.

You will monitor reports and systems to ensure accurate on-hand balances and pricing, coach team members on warehouse and vendor processes, and assist with stock, recalls, and daily inventory duties.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens or in retail.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and SOPs for store operations.
• Support pharmacy inventory management activities including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Maintain On-Shelf Availability (OSA) and ensure accurate pricing and planograms.
• Review reports and systems to ensure accurate on-hand balances and pricing for front end and pharmacy.
• Open/close store duties when required, including cash handling and POS operations.
• Conduct warehouse, vendor inventory management and scanning of deliveries.
