Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Inventory Specialist to execute and monitor inventory practices across front-end and pharmacy. You will receive, count, price, return items, and validate planograms while supporting asset protection and pricing tasks.

You’ll engage customers, assist with store operations, and help ensure accurate on-hand balances. The role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and prior experience in retail inventory processes.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience or six months with Walgreens or equivalent.
• Fluent English reading/writing/speaking.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor inventory best practices for store and pharmacy.
• Receive, count, price, and process returns; ensure planograms are accurate.
• Support pricing changes and filing vendor/warehouse claims as needed.
• Open/close store in absence of management and handle cash register tasks when required.
• Coordinate front-end and pharmacy inventory activities including stock transfers and recalls.
