Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an inventory specialist to execute, monitor, and train in-store inventory processes across front end and pharmacy. You will manage receiving, counting, ordering, pricing, and returns, and ensure planograms accuracy.

Under pharmacist-in-charge supervision, you will support price changes, store systems, and compliance with state regulations. The role requires attention to detail and flexibility, including evening and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens work or one year in retail.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to multi-task.
• Experience with inventory systems and pricing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor and train inventory best practices for store and pharmacy.
• Review reports and ensure on-hand balances and pricing accuracy.
• Support asset protection and processing vendor returns and shortages.
• Open/close duties in designated stores and handle cash responsibilities.
• Lead front end and pharmacy inventory management, orders and scans.
• Ensure planograms are validated and maintained in-store.
