Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an inventory-focused team member in Texas to execute, monitor, and train best practices across front-end and pharmacy inventory. You will manage receiving, counting, pricing, and vendor returns while maintaining planograms and regulatory compliance.

As leader on duty when needed, you will open/close the store, handle cash and POS duties, and coach teammates on inventory accuracy and processes. Prior Walgreens or retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year in retail.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and SOPs for store including front end and pharmacy.
• Review and coordinate proper use of reports and systems affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Execute and maintain asset protection techniques; file claims for overages, shortages, returns, and damaged goods.
• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including cash handling and POS responsibilities.
• Engage customers, greet and assist with products and services; resolve issues as leader on duty.
• Coach team on warehouse and vendor inventory processes; create, review, and receive orders.
• Complete On-Shelf Availability end-to-end process for planogrammed departments, including recalls and returns.
